Over Leila
Hello ! I'm Leila, a native French teacher with a Master's degree in didactics of French as a foreign language from the University of Paris Sorbonne (2015).
I've been working as a teacher for over eight years and have taught French in different forms and structures:
- Public bilingual schools abroad
- Alliance Francaise in France and abroad
- Language schools and private schools, in France and abroad
- Entreprises and associations
- Private or group online lessons
I've spent years designing and delivering courses for students of all ages, children, teenagers or adults, and of all levels and profiles !
I am also an examiner at the Alliance Française for the DELF and DALF exams.
Learning languages and teaching French are a passion for me!
I moved to Spain 5 years ago, and now live between Andalusia and the Canaries, although I'm always exploring other parts of the peninsula and its islands!
Teaching French allows me to maintain the connection with my mother tongue, French, even though I live outside my country... I love being able to pass on its secrets and beauty to my students all over the world.

I'm a native French speaker with a Master's degree in Didactics of French as a Foreign Language from the University of Paris Sorbonne, but above all: teaching is my passion!
I've been teaching French as a foreign language for 8 years in France and abroad, in a variety of settings and structures:

I offer a wide range of French programs, including :
️- General French courses
️- Complete preparation for official exams: DELF A1-A2-B1-B2 and DALF C1-C2,
️- French tutoring for all levels: primary and secondary school,
️- Conversation classes and pronunciation workshops for fluent communication (listening and speaking) at all levels,
️- Introduction to French for beginners (A1.1)
️- Personalized courses focused on preparation for French exams: primary, secondary and university.
️- Interview preparation for French-speaking countries or for Master's or university studies in France.
️- Writing of important texts or letters and various translations.
️- French for specific purposes: French for the hotel industry, business, healthcare, architects, etc.
I adapt my method and teaching material to work in a fun way with children learning French at school, as well as for adults preparing official exams or needing to improve their communicative competence in French:
Tailor-made lessons : I adapt my lessons according to the level and specific objectives of each of my students so that they can reach their goals quickly !
All the material is INCLUDED : books, grammar, audios, videos, exam models, exercises,... I have a lot of didactic material at my disposal !

Leila es una profesora excelente. Cercana, profesional y práctica a la hora de enseñar la lengua francesa. Sus clases son amenas y muy provechosas. La recomiendo a cualquiera que quiera aprender francés y especialmente a aquellos que deseen obtener alguna certificación, la conseguirán!
Fantastic teacher. French was to me like one of the strongest language to learn, but with Leila all was so simple. She understands what I want to accomplish and focuses on those specifics. Has helpful tips and easy instructions on how to best speak the language. She has been flexible with my changing schedule. Her lessons and worksheets are always helpful. Working with her for three+ months I have improved so much in my French reading, writing, etc. I highly recommend her as a French teacher.
Parfait ! Leila est une super prof! C'est une personne toujours disponible et ses cours sont très bien organisés et très efficaces. Elle dispose surtout de grande qualités humaines, son empathie, son humilité, font la différence. Elle a une pédagogie qui se différencie des autres professeurs, elle motive et donne l'envie d'apprendre.
Leila est une excellente professeure avec beaucoup d’expérience et d’énergie. Elle a une méthode d’enseignement très efficace et grâce à son superbe sens de l’humour, les cours sont très agréables. Elle a la capacité de motiver mes deux adolescents de 11 et 14 ans qui ont toujours hâte de commencer le cours. Elle est très impliquée dans son travail et le matériel qu’elle utilise pour ses cours de français pour les examens du DELF sont de très bonne qualité. Je la recommande vivement.
One very important thing I have to say about Leila is that she absolutely loves and is passionate about her work and she transmits this naturally to you. Her lessons are personalized, diverse, and intellectually stimulating. You will explore reading, speaking, listening and writing from a different perspective learning the nuances of the French language and how to enjoy the process. Great teacher and even better person!
