Over Emma
I am currently pursuing two bachelor degrees in Education, specialising in French and English. From the age of eighteen, I began working in Dutch high schools to gain hands-on experience in education. During this time, I have run my own homework support classes, worked as an invigilator during high-stakes examinations, and assisted teachers with various classroom tasks. Since the summer of 2024, I have also been providing personalised NT2 lessons to learners of all ages.

Hi, my name is Emma and I’m your future Dutch tutor;).
As someone who loves learning new languages and has experienced challenges with studying, I understand how difficult it can be to acquire a new language, especially when it is mandatory.
So that’s where I come in!
My affinity with children, experience working with learners with autism, dyslexia, and ADHD, and my understanding of learners who need more time make me a supportive and adaptable teacher for a wide range of students.
I tailor each lesson to your individual needs, whether the focus is on pronunciation, grammar, or overall language confidence. If you let me know your learning goals in advance, I can prepare thoroughly and provide high-quality, targeted lessons.
In addition to lessons, I provide learning materials and practice exams, allowing you to continue progressing independently between sessions.
