Over Noah
About Me:
I’m a university lecturer and programme coordinator at the University of Amsterdam with a PhD from Leiden University and a BA in Psychology from UBC (University of British Columbia). With over 10 years of experience in higher education, I’ve coached hundreds of students (ages 13–21) to academic success, university admission, and personal confidence.
What I Offer
University & Academic Preparation
Study skills coaching: focus, planning, and strategy
Essay and assignment support (structure, clarity, feedback)
Admissions coaching for top universities (Oxford, UCL, Leiden, etc.)
Exam readiness and academic stress management
Public Speaking & Presentation Skills
1:1 coaching for students, professionals, and performers
Speech structure, storytelling, and persuasive delivery
Overcoming stage fright and building authentic confidence
My Approach
I combine research-backed academic coaching with real-world performance training. My background in theatre production and public communication helps students not only know what to say—but say it powerfully and with presence.
Every session is tailored to your goals—whether you're preparing for a big exam, applying to university, or delivering your first confident talk.
Student Results
Admissions success: Oxford, UCL, Leiden
Professional speaking: corporate clients, university panels, TED-style presentations
Confidence transformation: from “I hate speaking” to “That was the best part of my day”
Please note: I do not provide coaching, guidance, or support for any programs, institutions, or courses that I am directly affiliated with. This is to ensure full transparency and avoid any potential conflicts of interest.

My lessons are designed to help students unlock their full academic and communication potential, whether you're preparing for university applications, improving your study habits, or developing confident presentation skills.
I focus on building clear thinking, structured expression, and confident delivery. Each session is personalized based on your goals, whether that’s writing a university-level essay, preparing for an admissions interview, or overcoming public speaking anxiety.
What we work on:
Effective study strategies and time management
Structuring and editing academic essays and assignments
University application coaching (personal statements, interviews, entrance prep)
Public speaking and presentation skills for class, work, or performance
Confidence-building for speaking in English in front of others
I integrate my academic background (PhD, University of Leiden) with nearly 10 years of international teaching, mentoring, and professional theatre production to help you feel prepared, confident, and in control.
Whether you’re a high school student applying to top universities, a university student aiming to improve your results, or a professional developing speaking skills, my sessions will give you tools that work in real life, not just in theory.
