I am an experienced business coach specialising in English language training, with a background as a language trainer in South Africa and the Netherlands. With a solid foundation in information technology and a strong commitment to personal development, I have dedicated many years to technical and personal development training.
Throughout my career, I have coached and mentored university graduates and business professionals in essential skills such as technical report writing, effective presentations, and communication. In 2011, I completed the TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, during which I assisted in teaching English to illiterate adults. I find great fulfilment in motivating my students and helping them achieve the confidence to communicate effectively in English.
Since relocating to the Netherlands in 2013, I have taught English at various levels to students of all ages. Currently, I focus on coaching business professionals and their families who are relocating to or from the Netherlands. I enjoy working with international students and prefer to create customised, engaging lessons that emphasise presentation skills, vocabulary enhancement, and confidence building, while also incorporating traditional teaching methods.
I have collaborated with numerous global corporations, and my training sessions have included both online and face-to-face formats.
With a proven track record in the corporate and secondary education sectors, I possess skills in mentorship, business process design, teaching English as a foreign language, customer relationship management (CRM), and database management.
Additionally, my experience as a Toastmaster has significantly enhanced my communication and leadership abilities. As President of my club and later as Area Governor for five clubs, I focused on public speaking while also honing vital communication skills.
