Teaching Techniques and Methodology: My teaching approach is student-centered, engaging, and adaptable. I use a blend of communicative language teaching (CLT), task-based learning, and direct instruction to ensure my students develop all four language skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. I incorporate multimedia resources, real-life scenarios, and interactive activities to make learning fun and relevant. I believe in fostering a supportive and encouraging environment where mistakes are seen as learning opportunities.
Duration of Lessons: Each lesson typically lasts 60 minutes. This duration allows us to cover new material, practice extensively, and consolidate what we've learned without overwhelming the student. However, I am flexible and can adjust the lesson length according to the student's needs and preferences.
Qualifications and Experience: I hold a Bachelor of Science degree and I'm a English - C2 CEFR certified instructor. I have over 15 years of experience teaching English to students of various ages and proficiency levels, both in classroom settings and online. I have also completed my Dutch naturalisation process and have obtained the Inburgering diploma (1F/A2 dutch language level). Being a Dutch citizen, I don’t need employer sponsorship. I've been registered in the Netherlands since April 2013, currently residing in Amstelveen with my family.
Target Audience: My lessons are tailored for learners of all levels, from beginners to advanced speakers. I teach children (ages 6 and up), teenagers, and adults. Whether you're looking to improve your conversational skills, prepare for exams, or boost your business English proficiency, I can create a customized learning plan that meets your goals.
