Over Riwfka

Learn Dutch. Live Dutch. Feel at Home.
Hi! I'm Rif, founder of Live Like a Dutchie.
Moving to the Netherlands can be exciting, but also overwhelming. Learning the language is important, but understanding Dutch culture and daily life is what truly helps you feel at home.
My lessons are practical, interactive and focused on real conversations. From your very first lesson, you'll practice Dutch you can immediately use at work, in the supermarket, on public transport, with neighbours or while ordering coffee.
But my lessons don't stop behind a desk.
Through Live Like a Dutchie, you can also book unique real-life experiences where we practice Dutch while exploring everyday life together. Learn how to use the Dutch public transport system, visit local markets, discover Dutch traditions, explore beautiful cities, and gain the confidence to communicate naturally with Dutch people.
Whether you're an expat, international student, tourist or new resident, my goal is simple:
Help you stop feeling like a visitor and start living like a Dutchie.
What you can expect:
Practical conversation lessons
Dutch pronunciation and confidence building
Culture, traditions and local etiquette
Dutch for work and everyday life
Real-life language practice outside the classroom
Public transport (OV) guidance
Personal coaching tailored to your goals
Learning a language should be fun, practical and unforgettable.
Ready to experience the Netherlands like a local? Let's start your Dutch journey together!

Learning Dutch is about much more than grammar and vocabulary. My lessons focus on speaking confidently in real-life situations. Together we practice conversations you will actually use every day, whether you're shopping, ordering in a café, talking to neighbours or colleagues, or visiting the doctor.
What makes my lessons unique is that you can also book real-life experiences outside the classroom. We can practice Dutch while exploring the city, using public transport, visiting a local market, ordering food, or discovering Dutch traditions and culture.
My goal is simple: to help you feel at home in the Netherlands and give you the confidence to communicate naturally.
Lessons include:
Dutch conversation for beginners to advanced learners
Dutch culture and customs
Everyday vocabulary and pronunciation
Practical Dutch for work and daily life
Real-life practice in the city
Public transport guidance (OV)
Optional cultural walks and experiences through Live Like a Dutchie
Learn Dutch, experience Dutch culture, and start living like a Dutchie!
Dit sluit perfect aan op jouw idee: eerst taalles, daarna tours en ervaringen verkopen. De taallessen worden zo een opstapje naar jouw betaalde Live Like a Dutchie Experiences, zoals:
How to use Dutch public transport (OV)
Dutch supermarket challenge
