Hi! I'm Rif, founder of Live Like a Dutchie.
Moving to the Netherlands can be exciting, but also overwhelming. Learning the language is important, but understanding Dutch culture and daily life is what truly helps you feel at home.
My lessons are practical, interactive and focused on real conversations. From your very first lesson, you'll practice Dutch you can immediately use at work, in the supermarket, on public transport, with neighbours or while ordering coffee.
But my lessons don't stop behind a desk.
Through Live Like a Dutchie, you can also book unique real-life experiences where we practice Dutch while exploring everyday life together. Learn how to use the Dutch public transport system, visit local markets, discover Dutch traditions, explore beautiful cities, and gain the confidence to communicate naturally with Dutch people.

Together we practice conversations you will actually use every day, whether you're shopping, ordering in a café, talking to neighbours or colleagues, or visiting the doctor.
What makes my lessons unique is that you can also book real-life experiences outside the classroom. We can practice Dutch while exploring the city, using public transport, visiting a local market, ordering food, or discovering Dutch traditions and culture.
