My journey of learning English started when i was 10. My family moved to Tenerife and enrolled me into a private English school. After a year we went back to Latvia(my home country) but i was already ´hooked.´ Of course at school i had lessons as in Latvia English is a compulsory language but a lot of work i did over the next eight years was by myself - movies, music, books, study exchange friends etc. Then i passed my IELTS and enrolled into a University in Bath, UK. After graduating i moved to the Netherlands for my Masters, mainly cause it was more affordable. Still my Masters degree was also taught in English and my everyday life for now almost seven years is spent by speaking English so i can dare say it feels like my mother tongue.

Together we pick up a topic that is relevant to you and we discuss it. During the session I will correct the grammar when needed; explain the meaning of the unknown word in English instead of translating as much as possible to enhance the memory speed and create a personal connection between you and the words.
Every lesson is an individual approach depending on what is the purpose of learning it. For example when i decided to move to England for studies i studied the language yes BUT i also read the books; listened to the music, watched movies, TV shows, sketches and even talk shows not just in English but from England/Great Britain. Language is so much more than words - it is also culture, food, history, inside jokes, habits etc.
I met a lot of people who could speak English very well but still could not integrate in the local society and the reason is because they could not follow the conversations about the latest Graham Norton show or sing along to ´Wonderwall´. I believe we can find a connection of interests as well as words in order to feel completely comfortable and confident in English.
