Over ERICA J
I am Erica ᕦ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ᕤ from Colombia (31), a woman with an open mind, interested on learning languages, traveling, and meeting new cultures. It seems to me traveling teaches us about humanity and gives us an appreciation, understanding, and respect for different points of view and ways of life.
My profession is geological engineering but I decided to leave my job and embark on a path of personal growth and development of language skills.
I came to Belgium in order to start my master's course at Ghent University and to live a cultural exchange as a student in this city, sharing different ideas, traditions, and knowledge with you.
More about me: There are a lot of simple things that make me happy like listening to people's life stories, seeing children smiling, drinking wine and hot chocolate, being in contact with nature, walking in the mountains and in front of the sea, watching movies and spending time with my family and loved ones. I developed a taste for gardening thanks to my mom. I consider myself a professional person with a great sense of humor, a good listener, and communicator, teamwork-oriented with organizational and planning skills as well as with critical thinking. I enjoy performing acts of service and helping people.
