Hello, my name is Alex I'm a 19 year old university student at the technological University of Eindhoven. My major is in mechanical engineering but I've always had a passion for mathematics as I believe that mathematics are the core of our universe. The reason I love teaching/tutoring is because I can find myself in my student by being able to relate to them as I am quite young myself. Moreover I really like the challenge of finding new and unique ways of explain things to other people as everyone has a different way of learning and I find that exciting and fascinating.

When teaching/tutoring I firstly like to understand the way the student works. My approach to teaching is to explain the theory in a simple and comprehensible way so that the student can understand, then I like to look at examples and implementations of the theory before starting to solve multiple exercises and questions. Practice makes perfect!
-Duration of lessons: Usually depends on the student's needs and schedule but often between 1-2 hours per session (Very flexible on this but not anything under an hour)
-Prior tutoring experience: Helping kids with basic primary school mathematics (typically ages 8-11) and some experience with tutoring highschoolers (typically ages 16-18)
