I’m Salar, born in Spain to Iranian parents. I went to an international school in Madrid and did the entire IB there. I’ve always been quite mathematically proficient, and during class I would often help my friends with difficult topics. It was very satisfying to see them gain confidence after I helped them. As a result, I decided to start tutoring.

I like to let the student study as if I’m not there, and only interfere when they need guidance; tutoring is not teaching. Of course, when a concept needs to be explained I gladly will explain it. I tend to use a visual approach, including diagrams and charts to help the student easily grasp a topic.
