My name is Antonio and I am currently completing my master's degree in Neuroscience at the VU Amsterdam.
A little about me: I am passionate about science, understanding how the brain works and using knowledge to make a positive impact. During my studies in biomedical engineering, I realized that learning is a team effort and about recognizing your strengths and weaknesses. For me, getting the support I needed at the right time was invaluable for my formation, which is what inspired me to become a tutor.
My experience as a tutor and teaching assistant has allowed me to develop great communication skills and patience. I’ve learned how to break down complex topics into more approachable concepts and adapt to different learning styles.

As a teacher, I like to plan and design my lesson according to my students specific needs. I have mostly taught high schoolers and college students. We usually go over homework/course content together and go back to any topics that need review or refreshment. I am very good in explaining complex subjects in creative and intuitive ways.
