Over Armand
I'm Armand—originally from Romania, now calling Eindhoven home while pursuing my Master's in Data Science & AI. I hold a double bachelor's in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from TU/e, one of only 8 students to complete this demanding combination from an initial cohort of 80.
I genuinely love the moment when something "clicks" for a student. Mathematics isn't about memorizing formulas—it's a way of thinking, and I find joy in helping others discover that.
My experience coaching over 100 students taught me that everyone learns differently, and the best teaching adapts to the person, not the other way around.
Outside of academics, I enjoy acting, running, photography, and creative writing. I believe curiosity is the foundation of all learning—and I try to bring that energy into every lesson.

My Teaching Approach:
I'm a Master's student in Data Science & AI at TU Eindhoven with a double bachelor's in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics. I've coached over 100 students as a university teaching assistant—I know how to make difficult concepts click.
Every lesson follows a clear structure:
1. Review & Clarify — We discuss what confused you from homework, school, or our last session. I re-explain using fresh angles, tips, and analogies tailored to how you think.
2. Deepen & Expand — We explore further or progress to new material, using examples and metaphors crafted specifically for you.
3. Practice — Exercises until the concept truly clicks.
4. Plan Ahead — Clear homework and expectations for next time.
First session: We discuss your goals, assess your level, and identify gaps.
Who I teach: Primary school (ages 11+), high school (HAVO/VWO), HBO, university students, or self-learners. All lessons in English.
